Our center is part of the Technical University of Sofia, which is the biggest higher technical school in Bulgaria.

At present the research team consists of about 10 people and has been doing research for fifteen years.

Our field of interest is numerical and experimental investigation of complex turbulent flows. We are particularly involved in the modeling of engineering processes based on complex flow interaction such as ventilation and combustion in industrial boilers. We have developed specialized software packages for computer simulation of these processes. Our experimental activities are mainly directed toward three dimensional turbulent jets and indoor climate field studies.
